piddlefoot is completely right.

Btw EA is working on a huge patch. It is to be release at the end of August.

* Server and Client performance improvements.
* Improved Server Browser - added Favorites and History Lists.
* Point-farming prevention - game will stop Support/Medic/Engineer point farming exploits.
* Squads - locked squad leader will get a message if someone wants to join.
* Many HUD improvements - see the names of others in your vehicle, zoom level changing depending on vehicle, map zoom depending on map setup (16, 32 or 64 player map) etc.
* Teamkilling changes - the logic of how teamkills are tracked will be changed.
* Gameplay tweaks - the way transport helicopters work will be tweaked.
* Additional scoring changes - players who destroy an enemy commander's assets will be given points.

Game definitely could use some aiming enhancements. I'm getting better, but there are some definite issues with certain guns. I can't wait for EA to come out with a decent patch for the game to fix a lot of the user wants instead of bug fixes.

EXCELLENT suggestions. I suggest you read them all. My criticisms of the ideas on the second page, although there is a NSFW signature on page two.

Nice find I can agree with most of them except the additional blood in particular, there is no need and the game should draw the reality line some where. Also A semi realistic/arcade style is a little bit more fun than a full reality game (85% real and 15% arcade), after all gaming is all about fun. Leave the blood and gore to the real troops, we do not need to scare children.

I disagree with the vast majority of those suggestions. Theyre all geared towards making the game unncessarily more complicated, when half of the people playing havent yet figured out how to get into a squad.

What are needed are less hits to kill enemies (just slightly), more accurate weapons (especially the machine guns, they are USELESS), and an end to the constant punishing when its not your fault.

Because as it stands right now, the game just doesnt *feel* right. No matter how heavy the gun is, or how bad your aim is, it should not spray as much as it does currently. We shouldnt need a marker to know we hit someone, it should be obvious, like in CS/DOD.

Most of those MS paint things were dead accurate.

Oh, and less lag, for the love of god.

WRONG FORUM

Take it over to software or PlanetBattlefield and there will be plenty of other people to bitch along with you.

oh god. the planetbattlefield forums are full of morons. They complain when a jet can take out a tank... air > ground

they complain at everything.

I add:

Helicopters that can survive a 120mm tank shell...Yeah right. :disgust:

M249's that cannot hit anyone with reasonable accuracy at a range of 50m.

Knives that cannot kill at melee unless target is stationary.

yeah, depends on what gun you're using. the SMG uses 9mm and if the guy you're shooting at is heavily armored then it might take more than 5 shots, and the fact is that you might've not hit him with all the 10 bullets. and the guy shooting you has probably unlocked a nice rifle. anyways, i do find it frustrating too as i find myself in the same situations at times. it's really bs, i almost broke my desk because of that. i need to start putting pillows around the computer so i dont hit it out of fury.

Play DoD Source... much more realistic in terms of how many shots it takes to kill someone. Usually one shot from any gun does it.
