i think it's pretty lame that you cant practice on flying in the SP, and only around other people who bitch constantly about trying to practice on public server

Just go to an empty server to practice it. If anyone needs a BF2 clan, & you're not a kid,, then send me a PM.

If you guys want to be commanders, learn how to fire the damn artillery. The map becomes way too one sided when one commander does it and the other doesnt.

Start your BF2 demo, select your offline account, select multiplayer, select create local, add the 32 player map then start server.

Detonate dune buggy, attack :0

Profit.

A questionable use of taxpayer dollars, but it sounds fun nonetheless.

Multiplayer --> Create a local server then

With that caps lock thing, it's extremely easy. The hard part is estimating where the enemy is going to be when the artillery lands if it's a moving target.

Considering that, I normally just bomb the crap out of the flag areas with lots of red dots around them :p

Thats all I do when I'm the engineer. Maintenance of the artillery, radar, vehicles, and com, then defend it from special forces with my measly shotgun and claymores.

It just ticks me off when they aren't firing, or firing and I don't see any artillery deaths. I know when I do the medic and try to support the troops on the beach, their side seems to kill 5 people at a time with their strikes.

I did a fun thing last night. The far west beach flag was swarming with MEC baddies and no friendlies in sight. I dropped a supply crate and all the little mice came out of hiding to get the cheese. Then my arty which I had called in a few seconds earlier blew them away ;)

i am really enjoying being commander. it takes a few rounds, but i just start yelling at people, they want direction. my team was losing pretty bad, after a few rounds commanding and people started to trust me, we were unstoppable, won the next 15rnds no problem. teamwork owns in this game ;)

i dont like being commander because most of the time you are hiding, away from the battle, giving commands, art,UAV etc...

Press Enter, go to Manage Squad, and in the top you should see your squad members. Check the one you want to kick and press 'apply'. He should get booted.

Also, if you are commander and you have a squad not doing what you say, you can rebuke them and if they STILL don't listen, right click on them on the left screen and go to 'Divide Squad'. Within about 2 minutes they'll disapear into the unassigned group.

Any questions, feel free to PM me. I have played the BF series since the demo of BF1942. I have every single BF exansion pack and game. I'm an extatic fan of the BF series :-D, I play the demo like, 6 hours a day, if not more. So I know the game pretty damn good!

MOVE OUT SOLDIER!!
