Non-Ranked servers are cheap all over. Plus, a 16 man server in BF2 is pointless..it's not even a battlefield at that point.

At that place as 32 person non-ranked server = $128.00
At most other places 32 person non-ranked server = $80

Ribservers doesn't look good to me at all.

Yea, I have heard that a busy 64 player BF2 server uses aroung 50gig/day.

A full 64 player server runs at 6mb/sec upload and just under 2mb/sec download.

I bought BF2 when they first come out play the game for only a few times the game is fun. I was so busy lately don't really have a chance to play BF2 what is up with the pay server and the ranking? Now day we have to pay for to play the game? Why can't they make things simple like bnet (just my 2 cents).

paying is for the people that host servers, us gamers dont have to pay nothing.

is their any gain from people shelling out money for their own server , besides saying they own one? i guess if you are in a clan you would need one. but i rather pocket the extra money?
