Here is our website: BF2 clan site

In anticipation of this game I have built a new gaming rig and started working with friends from other clans I have been in to get this clan together.

I have already posted threads in Total Battlefield 2 forums & Extreme overclocking forums & have about 10-15 people in the clan already. Now I would like to invite the gamers from the most mature forum on the net to join the clan. We will be focusing on teamwork first & foremost, so anyone is welcome n00b or vet.

What I will not tolerate is bossy players who will ruin the fun for our members so keep that in mind before deciding to join up. If you want to join just let me know here or send me a PM. The website is supposedly being worked on, but if someone is interested in making one for the clan then I will jump on the offer because my web designer just had a baby today.
 
It's funny you say that because that's what I put as the subject to the thread at TotalBF2. I would rather put a clan together beforehand because the game very dependant upon strategy & teamwork, thus I am putting up threads to build the clan.

I would be interested if the game comes out anytime soon. I love playing BF:VT online (solid player) but it can be too much work with all the random players and confusion.

Sounds good, I will PM the web address to those interested in joining when the website is up & running. The good thing about a clan is less random players & confusion. 🙂

I think the game will come out on time this time because they are playtesting it in house already & demand has hit a fever pitch.
 
Sign me up as well. I've already preorder Battlefield 2 from Outpost.
I'd rather they take their time and release a solid game than having them releasing a half-assed game.
In the meantime, I'm playing COD:UO to tied me over.
 
I'm very interested as I loved BF and have been reading good things about BF2. And guess what? I'm one of those few players that doesn't camp for an airplane. In fact, I hate flying planes in games. Tanks are where it's at.

I get tired of joining random servers loaded with smacktards, but it's always that one game where we had teams that actually worked together and played so well- I always strive to find those games again like a crack addict tries to match his first high.

lmao, nice & I totally hear ya. Guys, the website should be up shortly, but for now I will be checking back to this thread daily until the site is up. If anyone else is interested just put a message here or PM me & I will let you know when the site is up. Joining the site will be a requirement because I want everyone to communicate & voice their opinions in & out of the game.

What is the expected release date. The best I could find was June 21, 2005 from EBGames.

What kind of commitment is required to join the clan? Do I have to be available to practise a minimum # of hours/week?

I do not have a ton of free time but would love to join to ensure consistent game play with a great bunch of guys.
 
I don't have a set amount of practices that are mandatory, but if you could make one a week it would be great to keep you updated as far as tactics & teamwork go. I will try to organize 2-3 practices a week so everyone has a chance to get to one.
 
Other than the PM I sent... does the clan have a name yet?

I would be interested in finding out more...

Edit2: Not that I know what being on crack is like.

 
The clan is going to be an part of an older clan i joined & thoroughly enjoyed through Socom2, Halo2, & Planetside. Some of my friends from that clan will be joining in as well, which I'm really looking forward to. I do ask that you guys start looking for names from the Marvel comics universe that you would like to use for your screen name while playing with the clan. Check out this thread, where I have listed a few good links for finding names you coud use:

If you want in, you're more than welcome to join up & make a name for clan purposes. I am not sure how clan tags will work, but I imagine the tag will be either automatically added or it will be something like [X] or [mXc] or something along those lines. I will PM everyone with the clan's website address when the site is up & running.

Chronology Project is a very good one if you want to see every name from Marvel comics. Right now the only ones that are definitely taken are ArchAngel, Cable, Silver Surfer, & maybe Professor X. My Socom friends will keep their Xmen names from Socom, so i ask that you try to find 3-5 names that you like.
