Battlefield 2 and powerstrip

I wanna use Powerstrip to turn up the brightness of BF2, because on my monitor is incredibly dark. Using another monitor is not an option at this point, so Im thinking I should do it through powerstrip. But does running this program while playing BF2 cause any problems with Punkbuster? I dont want to get banned from it.
