No idea if the price's gonna go up again tomorrow.

But if yes, then I must have been really lucky... I didn't know anything when I went to CUSA.

I would wait for Gogamer to have one of their 48 hour Madness sales. They usually have BF1942 for $19.99 or $23.99.

Yeah, but you still have to pay shipping ($6?)

it's still at gogamer for $23.90 (plus the s&h). that's not the retail version, tho. no manual. that's the normal price for it there.

and yes, it's a great game.

Hmm I picked it up on Sat. and wasn't super-impressed. Its all the chaos of RTCW (with all the Lts. firebombing), but lacks the control of either RTCW or SoF2. A bit too much spam killing IMO.

don't be too quick to judge, just takes a while to learn and get used to. IMO it's a great game, there are so many things you can do in this game. I can understand about the spam killings but there are ways to get around it by picking other spawn locations and getting around to killing the enemies first ;)

You got my hopes up with that 23.90 price.....unfortunately it's been 27.90 for the jewelcase version for a while.

I bought this game in mid december. Since EB no longer PMs I took a competitors ad (can't remember who's) to Staples and got it for $30. Is well worth it. Unfortunately this is THE most expensive game I hae ever bought. Wht you ask? The game played fairly well (but not good enough) using my old GF2 MX so I went out and ordered an Abit Siluro GF4 TI 4200 ($113) at Allstarshop. It plays VERY well now. So the game ends up costing me $30 + $113 = $143. I like the fact that it has a great single player campaign (great for us who do not have broadband and cannot play multiplayer effectively).
