Battlefield 1942 question...

Does anyone know where I can get a bf1942 no cd patch? My reason being, I have wrecked some very nice game cds, from using them so much, and bf1942 is one of my favorits, I would hate to have to buy it again. Like my jk2 cd got wrecked from using it so much, and will NOT install.

P.S. Will I get banned for asking this?

Get Daemon tools or Alcohol 120% and create images for the CDs. Then create a virtual drive for the play CD image and you can load BF1942 off that

thats what I do for BF1942

I tried this, but I noticed some minor lag, don't you get video lag while playing?

daemon tools don't work on my 1942 cd's (and really fubars my registry) I have to just live with tracking my cd's all the time.

Daemon tools and Alcohol worked fine for me and 1942.

It works pretty good for me .. still, I'd rather use a no-cd crack if there's one (that works).

I havent found a no-cd patch that works yet. There's one on GameCopyWorld that would let me play local, but I couldn't connect to any servers. So now I just use my CD, havent tried dameon tools yet.

Installed crack and it won't let me play DC on line. Am I missing something, or will it not work with DC?
