Battlefield 1942 Multiplayer Demo is out! This WILL be GOTY

The 60hz just applies to the main menu. The game will run at your normal refresh rate.

For those crashing try setting your desktop to 60hz.

Make sure you select 56K as your network option. Doing this helped me a ton and lag was almost non-existant. It does get difficult to kill people with a bolt action right now, so try the autos.

Dangit, my NVrefreshtool won't start up so I can't set it to 60hz =( I hope they make a patch for it.

I use RivaTuner and can't access anything below 85Hz because I guess that's how it locks it in when playing a game. It tells the system it can't do anything lower.

I'm trying to find a 3rd party, easy and small program to bypass that and set the refresh rate.

Edit: Just tried to change my desktop screen to 60Hz and load the game, but it still crashed.

edit :: just finished downloading... game won't even launch, it just errors out. Some test crew they had making this.

Wouldn't have even said anything, but I do have him quoted...

I'm not changing my refresh rates to play ONE game. EA needs to get their heads out of their ass if they think that they can push a product that won't work on a perfectly functioning machine.

Radeon, several sites were hosting the wrong file, you'll have to download it again until you find the right one.

Online play is pretty sh!tty.... all the servers are full no matter what, and how ever low the ping is, it is still laggier than anything I have ever seen.
