Battlefield 1942 - Let's set up a game this weekend!!!

Hey guys. Let's set up a game for a certain time tonight. If anyone would like to host it, you are more than welcome. I would, but my DSL connection sucks.

Let's say around 8pm EST.

Anyone up to hosting?

I'm good for 8:00 EST on Intake's server

If we get enough people it won't be as small


The only problem is that it lags out sometimes (not too often but when it does it sucks) and we don't know why it does it. If anyone else has a server it might be better to try there, otherwise LETS PLAY!!!!

It's 209 not 206, and I can't connect to the bastard. Could we get a name for it so we could find it in the browser?

ok I'm guessing that he's just not running the server through gamespy somehow because whenver I try to add the IP to my list it never shows... hence I can't find a name sorry

Maybe if Intake was in here we could figure out how he set up his server

This also explains why only people who know about the server have been able to join and not just random people

alright, not sure if it'll help out or whatever but I played with some settings... (there arnt many at all to play with). I also setup a password. WORD! ATOT and Kerneldump only!

I still don't know about a server name... it lets me add it now but I can't find out which one is his because its not different....

if not, i'll be running an advertised server if anyone is interested. the name is SMM. And since gamespy blows so much and often the servers dont show up, i can come back later and post the IP. please PM me if you would be interested at all. i just want to sort of be able to judge how much interest there is.
