OServers probably haven't updated yet. This happened with the renegade patch took, took about 12 hours to filter through.

Patch didn't work for me though. I uninstalled and reinstalled and am about to try it again

Edit: Still didn't work. Must be my install of windows or something. I get a black screen, then it takes me back to the desktop and gives me the standard sound for a windows error (but it never throws an error at me). Oh well, I guess I'll hope that the retail version works

Are you connecting to the EA servers that specifically say v 1.1? Probably not.
From what I've seen there are more fixes then what the readme states... probably a complete list somewhere. I was able to hit moving targets with the sniper rifle!
Planes seem to fly a little dif too.
Just so you know the patch sets your vid back to 800x600x16 by default... don't forget to change that if you used 1024 or higher.

I just played two games and both were laggy as hell. Wondering if its my cable connection sucking tonight or if the patch caused some crappy lag or something... ?

oh, ok i forgot the patch JUST came out.
I can play just fine on the update servers so woohoo.

By the way does the planes seem like they have a slight different feel to anyone else?

this patch rocks! fixed server crashing and improved my ping alot, now i can hang out in the 50-100 range (thats normal).

Thanks for the heads up. Played on that server today and had a blast. My ping was in the 40-50s.
