Actually, he really hurt the Jazz during the regular season. I think his wrist injury was really bothering him in the playoffs.

Yup. Sure takes a lot of talent for a 350lb 7' guy to shove people out of his way and dunk a basketball.

That shows how little you know about the game of basketball. Name me one player that's 6'11+, 300lb+ in the NBA (there's plenty), but with numbers like Shaq. Answer: None. That's what i thought.

Oh yeah, I see how much you know about the NBA....

Just to be sure, I looked through every team roster. There is only 1 player listed at 300lbs or more other than Shaq.

DeSagana Diop 300lbs, 7'-0" Plays for the Cavs.

Everybody else in the C-F position averages around 260-280lbs or so.

Shaq is listed as 315lbs. If that's true, he has his defenders by at least 30lbs.

All his talent is around his waist and within 5' of the basket.

Yes, that's why Kobe is arrogant. Last I checked, basketball was a team sport.

You've read my mind.

His body gives him an advantage but it's also a disadvantage. He has GREAT control over his body and his speed is pretty awesome for his size. The man can dunk over anyone yet at the same time he has enough finesse when needed. His passing abilities is also pretty awesome and he's also a smart player.

Kobe WAS arrogant early in his careers but he's a changed man since he learned teamwork is the only way they'll win. Get over it. And you need to differentiate the line of confidence and recognition of being a star player over arrogance.

BTW, anyone know what Bibby is smokin'? He was a no name with the Grizzlies but he's getting pretty hot with the Kings. Maybe Fischer needs to smoke some of whatever Bibby is smoking.

Ok, here's the comparison...

Kobe = arrogant star player

MJ = arrogant star player

John Stockton = non-arrogant star player.

amish, how is it shaq is not talented? for a big ol' 315lba 7-1 mountain of a man, he's pretty agile and quick. i've seen him a few times bring hte ball upcourt on breaks... shaq can move. there's not many big guys that can handle the ball like him. look at many of the 280lbs centers in the league... they're usually flat-footed and slow. shaq could run circles around them, but it's so much easier to back them down and throw it home. guaranteed 2pts. shaq pisses me off becuz he's an arrogant bastage, but i gotta give credit where it's due... he's got plenty of skill (talent). btw, bobby jackson rules.

Ignore the shaq detractors. theyre the same kinds of idiots that used to say the same types of things about Wilt the Stilt.

Shaq is Shaq one of the greatest centers of all time.

John Stockton = non-arrogant star player

Isn't John Stockton supposed to be one of the dirtiest players in the NBA? I thought i remembered hearing that in a number of interviews...not sure though...
