Battery life

I have a macbook Core Duo, 2gigs, 200gb 7200rpm. My current battery health shows as check battery and capacity is down to 3622. It is at 278 cycles. I was told by my local Mac tech that it is normal for a battery to last a hour and half, when the cpu is at its highest setting. What kind of battery life are you guys getting?

When I had a MBP I had probably 2-3 hours when aim, email, office, web stuff. I never ran two processes of /dev/null though to see how long it would last a full blast. 30 mins seems low to me.

hour and half = 1.5 hours 😉 not 0.5 hours
