Hey has anyone ever handled Lipo Batteries? I am thinking of up grading my NiMH batteries to Lipo. Some people say they are dangerous etc....

I want to boost my R/C car to 75 mph....

Make sure you use a charger that can handle LiPo packs. Depending on the charger some will auto detect the cell count. If you purchase one with an auto detect double check the settings are correct along with the cell count. Charging a LiPo pack at a higher voltage or overcharging it could lead to a fire.
