If Batman were to ambush and had time to prepare against Spider-Man he would obliterate him. All Batman would have to do is find a chemical that neturalizes the webs Spider-Man has. Without his webs, Spidery is severely handicapped. Super stength and agility can be overcome by a man who basically owns the world.

In a one on one fight to the death, Spidey b!tches Batman around.

exactly, batman is peanuts compared to spiderman.

In fact, I would consider him a weaker superhero in general.

Both are intelligent, but the edge goes to Batman. Batman also has near infinite resources at his fingertips.

Spider-Man is definitely stronger, more resilient, and more agile than Batman. In a physical fight the edge goes to Spider-Man.

If Batman had a way of capturing Spider-Man, he might be able to defeat him.

Mind you, if Venom can't kill Spider-Man, I doubt Batman could.

I'd give Spider-Man the odds.

Honestly I'd think Batman would have a decent shot at defeating Venom too. Remember Venom's horrible weakness to sonics. And with Batman's endless supply of resources, he would develop a weapon that could take Venom out like that.

Thats considering he even makes it out of the first fight to recognize venoms weakness. If spidey or venom were to have a one on one fight without batman knowing ahead of time, he would be done for.

Parker is pretty smart too, at least in the comics (not so much in the movies). I'm sure they could both come up with plans to defeat the other without ever leaving their homes. Batman would be more likely to do this, certainly.

Well yea, but say Spidey and Batman didn't have a dispute and Spidey warned the Bat about Venom. Game set match Batman. That's Batmans thing, his ingenuity. When caught off guard, he's useless as a superhero.

I would give the edge to Spiderman simply because of that entire mutant strength, speed, and agility thing. Batman has those wonderful toys, and toys are kick butt however I don't think they are enough to kick Spiderman's butt.

as others have said. On impromtu fight spider-man wins hands down. BUT given any time to prepare batman would kick ass. batman does not fight fair. he would have something sneaky set up to win.

Spider-man can't even defeat the Kingpin, no way could he stand a chance against Batman.

Wolverine, The Punisher, Daredevil all picked a fight with spider-man before they really knew him.

Batman, of course. He would buy his own newspaper factory and produce a rolled up newspaper the size of a sky scrapper. Then he'll just have to hire someone like rhino to pick up the newspaper and smash spiderman with it. :D

If Bruce Wayne was walking down the street and ran into Peter Parker, Parker could kick Wayne's ass.

If Batman was out fighting crime and ran into Spiderman who was also out fighting crime, I say Batman would win. 1 missile from the Batmobile would make spidey into goo easily.
