i just wanted to be #400

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I still think Watchmen is one of the best things made recently, I'd put Deadpool and Guardians of the Galaxy close up there.

I was looking for #405 and couldn't find it.

Well I don't know....
Have to say it was loud and a good test for theater sound systems.
And effects were better than your average comic book hero films of past.
But, did Batman actually hit Superman on the head with the kitchen sink?
When I seen that, I knew we were all being had.

It was like they selected different crews of writers.
Crew one assigned to one scene, crew two scene two, and none of that they wrote needed to conform or fit to what the other crews wrote.

The film eventually went too far.
The slime monster? Really?
And Wonder Woman? Really?
Was she in there just for that crotch shot? Or did the film reach the point boobs were needed? Lois certainly wasn't going to provide that. Not if Clark had anything to say about it.

And Ben Affleck just did not cut it. Too old. No wonder lois preferred Superman.
It would be nice to stick with one Superman for a change.
What ever happened to Brandon Rough? I thought he was the save all of the Superman series? Guess you can't believe those Hollywood contracts.

I guess the movie did what it was suppose to do. Boobs, bombs, and assault weapons.
Yee Haw! Where did I park the pickup?
😉

I really had no desire to see this movie until I read this.

On one hand, I hate comic book movies. On the other hand, boobs. I need to meditate on this a bit.

Iron man 1/Cap 2? I'd put them above Deadpool and on par with GotG/Watchmen. Cap 1 I'd also put on par with Deadpool. I really liked it for some reason even though 2 was better.

Not really, inflation. If you've actually been to the movies lately tickets for this garbage are pushing $15-20 and matinee is $12 in my area. It never used to be that high.

Average us ticket price is under $9. There are very few places in the US (parts of LA, NYC, SF etc) where a mat could possibly run you $12 unless you're going to a premium theatre.

Deadpool was easily better than Ironman or Cap. However, it is almost an unfair comparison because they aren't really the same type of movie at all.

Saw it yesterday. Paid 11 bucks. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't great either. It's not the type of movie that I would pay for again or recommend it to anyone. I can't put my finger on it but the movie just underwhelmed me. I was happy when the film ended.

Brandon Routh. And I agree, he was a MUCH better Superman, and more closely resembled Christopher Reeve than anyone else.

He looked too much like an underwear model. Might have been OK if he bulked up a bit and didn't try to imitate Reeve.

I liked it myself, but I could not follow the plot. It was a good B movie, IMO, if your into superhero stuff.

I just felt that so much was untold. Its like they tried to cram several movies into one.

half a billion dollars is a shitload of money no matter how you want to cut it.

The S.F. Chronicle said it was vapid shit. I figure that's pretty right on. I just looked at the title and figured it was utterly dumb.
