I went to the local Six Flags today with some old friends, and let me just say, if you get a chance to ride the Batman ride (I don't know if it's only in New Orleans or not), go on it.

It's the best coaster I've ever been on. :beer:
 
I was on the one is Six Flags Great Adventure (Jackson, NJ) about 50 times (I have had a Season Pass for years). Great, SMOOTH rollercoaster. Very little jerking around, just a great ride.
 
is it the same as the one in valencia, ca?

EDIT: just compared the valencia vs new orleans, and its the same height, drop and length.

overall, OLD ROLLER COASTER FOR US CA PEEPS! i've also been riding "top gun" up at paramount's great american in santa clara and the two rides are rather similar.

still good old fun.
 
medusa is kinda like the batman one in NJ great adventure....both r awsome

i like the batman and robin one too

My favorite ride would have to be Raging Bull...in the rain! There's no better or more hilarious feeling than screaming in delight as you go 70+ MPH down the first drop and then hearing you and your friends scream in terror as the rain pelts your face like thousands of needles. It's not as bad as you'd think it is, but it's hilarious knowing that you have no control over the rain and that your friends are in the same situation with you.

Basically, the ride went as follows:
Hell yeah! This is awesome, so fast!...OMG my face! Oh god the pain!...Wooooo!!!! This is better than sex!...OH GOD, the rain is hitting my eyes!!!...etc. etc.

Now that's fun.

The Superman coaster wasn't half bad either.
 
Batman is sooooooooo old, but yeah, it's a good ride. The Riddler is better. X is better than that. Goliath is great too, but not as cool.
 
I had never been to six flags up until a couple years ago. The first one everyone wanted to go on was the Goliath. I was thinking how bad can it be? That first drop scared the ever living sh!t out of me. I should have bought the pic of myself looking like my life was about to end. When I got off I was very light headed 😀.
 
been to Batman in Jackson, NJ.

Nitro is by far my fav ride. The first drop, WOW. It just sucks the breath right outta you, it's great.
