I still have two sealed comic books from when superman died.

I had 4 (I had to open one to read it, but the bloody plastic cover was sick), when I went away for a while, my mother gave all my comic books collection, sports cards to a kid next door that moved away when I came back. She said it was taking up space...

Is this like Superman dying or is it gonna last?

It's supposed to be the end of Bruce Wayne as Batman.

So much for the whole "Batman Beyond" series. Bruce Wayne was supposed to live!

My dad threw out all my books after I moved out - novels, textbooks, scifi, everything.

No space - I was renting one small room in a flat with four others.

Did you effectively explain to her how much that stuff was going to be worth in later years?
