I finally installed this game. Performance is perfect. FPS limited to 90, but that's a reasonable limit. One GPU is dedicated to PhysX and it really helps and I can see that GPU being used during smoke effects and other stuff. No lag of any kind and the game looks great. Too bad it didn't launch like that. The game almost never goes below around 75fps or so, so performance is great with a single GPU running the graphics while maxed out.
I suck at the game and can't figure out how to use all the moves and take downs and all that crap, but its a nice game.

Cool. May get back to it after I finish Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Am I the only one that thinks there's no such thing as a "reasonable limit" on something such as frame rate?

I have no doubt they've cleaned up the game somewhat but I think it's a matter of standing on principle with this one, don't delegate to incompetent idiots the PC port of your game because this happens. Fixing it a year+ later isn't an acceptable 2nd place.

The really truly maddening thing about this whole fiasco is that they got the game right with the first in the series (Arkham Asylum) and followed it up with the exceptional Arkham City and then just basically flushed the series down the toilet.

Everyone forgets that that DX11 AC was a mess.

It's less of a mess now only because new hardware can power through the stupid that is their DX11 implementation. AO actually largely fixed this, but they don't ever get credit for that.
