Not sure / don't care, its mostly for crossfire users. I just get to enjoy the game more now :) AFAIK single card performance in Batman: AC was fine, GPU scaling with multi GPU was problematic.

It also increases SLI performance per the patch notes.

I've been playing a lot of Batman AC lately and have actually swapped out 3 different cards in that time: 5870 -> 6970 -> 7950. The 5870 struggled with tessellation as expected and the 6970 played it fine, dipping into high 40s at times. The 7950 never had a problem OC'd or not.

I had my first play through on a HD 5870 and I can vouch for the problematic Tess handling.

Good to know the 7xxx series is flying through it :D I look forward to a next play through.

Do you try limiting the amount of tess in CCC? Did it make any difference? I´m actually planning to strat playing today and am running a 5870.

i have been having issues too. I cannot run the DX11 patch without the game crashing left and right. i guess its because i am playing it on 32bit win7 and the last patch warned against the dx11 and 32bit systems. my 64bit harddrive went dud on me and i was waiting for IB instead of upgrading this socket 775 anymore.

Whats also strange is BatmanAC still crashes every now and again even in DX9 (every 3hrs). Its the only game i have had this issue with and i have played like hundreds on this system. Anyway, does it crash on anyone esle

Sorry, I missed your post. No, I didn't manually try adjusting the tess through CCC, I just used the ingame options.

At low I'd get a 5-7FPS boost, but the hit to IQ was very noticeable. Reminded me of pop-up from days old. I'd be walking towards a tree or a wall, and slowly the edges would rise haha.

Normal was enough for me to enjoy the game, but the FPS counter was 30-40FPS most of the time.
