I'm getting lazy in my gaming lately. I don't want to take the usual long time (for me) to learn the controls of a complex game. That is why I can't play any console games. Is the learning curve fairly easy for this game? I don't suppose I can lean back in my chair and just play it with a mouse? This last question was half kidding.

It's one of those simple to use, difficult to master kind of things. I don't know what your level of comfort for controls really is as I can't think of to many console games that I would consider "complicated", but the only thing that I could see as being somewhat difficult knowing when and where to use the gadgets, and even that was much smoother than I expected. You can pretty much play the game with a WASD layout on a keyboard.

You want to play Batman: AA with a mouse and keyboard? Wow...good luck with that!

I imagine if you have a 360 controller hooked up to your PC, that the controls would be as good as they are on the 360. A direct translation, probably, if it's a GFWL title.

I played the demo with a mouse/kb, it was ok. def prefer the 360 controller though. I might have bought it on PC if not for the delay

It actually plays very well with keyboard/mouse. If you could handle prototype, max payne, tomb raider <insert any other 3rd person shooter) with a keyboard/mouse, you will be right at home with batman.

I recommend you buy a 360 controller. You'll then be prepared for this and any future games that are console centric.

Is the full game different then the demo? Cause it was pretty straightforward to control the demo with a KB/Mouse.

I can't imagine playing without a controller. It uses every button on my PS3 controller and they you have to account for movement too.

Keyboard Mouse has many more buttons than a PS3 controller. :p

One review for xbox version I read talked about how the game operates using very few buttons, and fighting is basically using 2 buttons. I generally prefer using kb/m when possible, though I own an x360 pad for the ports.

True, I supposed that's my personal bias saying that 3rd person perspective games should be played with a controller.
