Am I wrong for finding this disgusting? I'm talking to my dad on the phone he's using the cordless and home, and he goes to the bathroom I can hear it! When I comment on it he says "Oh you weren't supposed to hear that". Am I a stupid for finding this rude annoying and disgusting, or does anyone else feel this way?
What are your thoughts on this?
 
washroom? By that, I thought you meant where your washer and dryer are. 😉 I take it you mean bathroom.

Yeah, most would find that rude or disgusting. A little less so if its your immediate family, but still.

I looked up washroom..
wash·room - A bathroom, especially one in a public place.
 
Don't care if its family or close friends. I dont make it obvious or anything, but if they know they know.

If its a lady, work, etc. I don't though.
 
Yeah its disgusting. I'll be primping in the mirror and some woman is in a stall talking on the phone, weird

Yes it is disgusting.

As a note, I believe that washroom is the common term throughout the world, except in the US. I mean bathroom doesn't really make sense for a public facility. I don't see any bathtubs 🙂. I've never seen a sign in Canada that says bathroom.

I was in Washington, DC on business a couple of years ago - the hotel I stayed in had a phone on the wall right behind the cr@pper.

Yes, it's disgunting... my exgf used to do that while we were on the phone. Nasty...

If I need to goto the bathroom and I'm on the phone, I'll ask them to please hold and I'll put the phone on mute. Set it down and do my duty.

You are not alone.
 
Don't you hate it when you're doing it (sex or otherwise) and someone calls? Of course I will answer the call when I am in the can...

I normally ask them if I can call them back, or if I just got to whizz... I just tell them to hold on a minute and I put them on mute 🙂

If I heard someone crapping I'd hang up on them. :disgust:

To me, using the bathroom is a very intimate experience with my inner self and I'm very adament about using the bathroom by myself. Its something that shouldn't be shared with anyone else.
