Bathroom PC?

Maybe this sounds a bit wierd.. ok a lot wierd- but have any of you ever considered putting a pc in your bathroom? I think it'd be sweet since I enjoy spending an hour sitting on the jon, PLUS! no bathroom breaks, just letter rip!

ok enough of that, but I think itd be pretty dern sweet just to have a little lcd screen setup (something small and thin, ya know)

When i was little and still to this day while taking a dump i always thought about like woulnt it be cool to have a Tv or a PC in the bathroom, when i grow up i surely will, full internet connection too. Or just install a laptop in the wall...hmm
 
Hey I read a review of the Cyrix III .15 process... The processor had very little virtue as a powerful processor but as a low power very low heat processor it was excellent. You can get a baby AT(X) case and a socket 370 motherboard and a small flat panel display and you can build a fanless system which is on all of the time in the jon... Tee Hee

You could call it the CrapX 2000...

But seriously... it would be nice to have a small hand held device that was tied into a home (wireless) network that you could surf the web and read text such as books etc. I haven't figured out why nothing like that has shown up on the market yet. I am only talking about a very short rance wireless network... just enought range to allow full access to the whole house and the back yard. Same range as a cordless phone.

i've got cat5 running to my bathroom, so whenever im in the mood, i just bring my laptop in with me, plug it in, and i'm on the net from the can 🙂 2 of my favorite activities
 
just imagine the look on the cable guys face when you ask hime to run the cable into the bathroom......i am sure he would be telling that story to alot of people, i dont want to get sick or anything but if you added a web cam i am sure you could get into a german sh|t porn ring 😱
 
I was thinking about that condensation problem.. ya know when you take a shower or something. You could stick the whole computer in a plastic casing sealed to the floor

I want to play Nascar2000/Carmageddon/GPL/UT/Alice/whatever while taking a bath.. make that a bubble bath with maximum heat.
Yeah, and a fridge nearby loaded with ice cold Red Bull.:|
 
if you take your steering wheel in the bathroom where will you clamp it to make sure it doesn't move around?

I guess I'll have to come up with something though what really worries me is the pedals, they'd probably electrocute me on the spot, no?!?!?!?
 
how about you setup a wireless network and use a laptop...
