Bathrobes are for women. When I get out of the shower I wrap my towel around my waist until I get to the bedroom where I put on some underwear, you know, like normal people.

Freshman year in college I wore a rainbow-colored women's bathrobe I got at K-Mart because I couldn't find any men's bathrobes for sale.

edit: I got no dates. At all.

I need a bathrobe, and I figured with the wide range of knowledge here on ATOT, I could count on you folks to help me with my decision. I'm curious as to what brands make the best robes, what type of style is most preferred. I've done a bit of research myself, and i saw a few that had hoods, which would be sweet, but isn't entirely necessary. Also, I'm trying to find one that is light brown, tan, or some other similar color. This is my first bathrobe, so any and all advice would be appreciated!

edit: it's for a Halloween costume, but I'm obviously going to rock the bathrobe again.

help me out dudes!

You're a woman right?

I'll don a hoodie and some Christmas-themed polar tech pants when it gets chilly. I run DC 24/7, so I usually have at least one window open year-round.

love my bathrobe. nautica robe and pj bottoms were a gift many years ago - the bottoms were shredded and tossed, but the robe rocks on.

swing by a big department store like macy's to see what they have for quality robes. or you can get something from http://www.bathrobeshop.com/ and let us know how they are.

edit: i wouldn't bother with that site. it's all terry robes, and the prices are up there.

nah... the dude. I figured, I've already got long hair, and have spent the past month growing my beard out (and suprisingly, it hasn't scared away the woman in my life).

and cpt caveman, I'm a dude, and why can't guys wear bathrobes? Thats like saying women can't drive, or do long division.

What kind of Nancy-boy wears a fucking bathrobe? :D

REAL men walk around nekkid...(or in chonies and t-shirt)

Most of the time if I'm at home, I'm either in shorts or joggers and a t-shirt.

I never did get the whole "Men's Bathrobe" thing.

Well to be honest, I can't think of a better uniform for getting wasted on white russians and smoking roaches with an aligator clip.

Sounds like a good friday night to me. :D

I don't wear robes. My closet is in my bathroom, and I'm naked the whole way though. The problem is there's a huge wall mirror from the shower to the closet, so I keep seeing myself naked in the mirror and can't resist some self lovin'. :Q

Hah, once you asked for a tan one, I knew what it was for :p. Seems most people do not abide with the Dude in this hur thread though.

I put them on while in the bathroom.
