Batch Changes for File Ownership and Permissions

About a month ago, I got hit by a virus that randomly removed all my permission and ownership settings on various directories and files. I get the "<file or directory name> is not accessible" message everytime I try to access something. I think I know how to fix it: I have to go in and add Administrators as an owner to the file(s). Then I have to add full-access permissions for Everyone on the file(s).

Unfortunately, I have about 20GB worth of files to go through to fix everything. I've already tried going to a root directory and tried the "Reset permissions on all child objects and enable propagation of inheritable permissions" option under Security>Advanced. Everytime it encounters one of the "corrupted" files, it just says "Access Denied" on the corrupted subdirectory or file.

I'm running Win2K. Has anyone encountered something similar to this and figured out an easier solution?
