Would love to hear from the people who didn't like this game what their great games list is.
The Call of Duty series.
/troll

I can understand the ones that say the gameplay itself isn't that great. However, the overall package makes it a game to remember. ^_^

Dota 2
HL series
Portal series
The Bindings of Isaac
Diablo I, II, and Path of Exile
Loved Skyrim
Starcraft I & II (single player for II)
Final Fantasy series up to 7
Chrono Trigger

I didn't dislike Bastion. It just didn't pull me in. I also didn't like Bioshock Infinite. It felt like just playing a storyboard and the gameplay itself was very lackluster.

If you look at my games I listed, they're all very deep gameplay-wise.

Aye I see what you mean. I chose to repair the Bastion first play through and save him.
I will choose to leave him second time and not repair it. Looking forward to it.
🙂

save/don't save him doesn't have a big impact on the ending. All it does is make the fight at the end easier (as you saw, the tunnel people lay down their arms when they realize you are carrying him). If you don't save him, you have to fight all of those guys.

Also, if you don't save him and choose the "don't repair" ending, then he doesn't show up in the ending artworks.

So, in short, just save the poor guy 😉

Yeah that is a good list, I like a lot of those too.

Some of those early FFs aren't. 3 is pretty darn shallow. Pick a job and grind it out until a better job comes along. Grind it out. Repeat. 7 is a book you play. Stuck? Grind it out for a couple hours. Materia didn't have a large enough effect on the characters. Barrett was my healer. I was young. I don't consider the gameplay deep in Skyrim, either. The game as a whole is very immersive but the actual gameplay, especially combat, is rather basic.

I still love FF and Skyrim, though.

But, opinions.

Oh FF series is pretty much nostalgia. I played those as a kid. They would be a simple joke today.

Your trend in comments is negative ThinClient... sometimes its better to not voice your opinion when your trend doesn't prove productive/positive.
Look at your track record.. speaks for itself. Please refrain from constant negativity.

Tough shit. If you don't like my opinion, then stop reading my posts. I have plenty of positive posts. Seems like you're simply disregarding them in an effort to be negative, yourself, buddy.

Thats a good list. To each his own, I will say that Bastion didn't pull me in for the first 10 minutes (at least not for me) but the more I played it the more it did.
The narration / music for me is right up there as best in show. (for me)

Sorry for coming off rough.. it just seemed very strong the way you worded it and I probably took it too much to heart... no harm no foul

Ok so saving the poor guy is the way to go. Its what my gut was telling me anyways.. never leave a man behind ....😉

I just beat History Books arena Game+ mode using 6 Idols.... finally did it with Calamity Cannon and Brushers Pike. That was a challenge... wow lol
