Dang it, I was screwing around with my computer speakers (ghetto home built) running different tones from Bass Mekanik...my right speaker started sounding weird and sure enough the voice coil is rubbing. It overheated...it's apart on my floor. Since the damage is done already, I turned it up louder and could smell it then 😛

did almost that with my 15" AudioSource sub...i thought WTF is that SMELL?? TURN IT OFF!
