Chances are your sub doesnt go that low. The sub in my Klipsch 2.1's only goes down to 31Hz.

If you sub cant handle it, software is not gonna help....
 
Don't expect software to do anything when your sub can't handle it. My advice is to save up and get better speakers.
 
At frequencies much below the woofer's resonance, the amount of power needed to give loud sound goes up so much that bass boost isn't practical. With most woofers that limit is around 50-60 Hz.
