Good thing they are doing it now as the Iraqis aren't going to have any own law enforcement after the handover, and now safety troops either.-

Oh, you are saying those Iraqi police officers are commanded by Americans, oh well, at least their nationality is Iraqi.

Both your assertions lend to my opinion that you are somewhat *slow or

limited in intellectual, emotional, or academic progress*.

LOL, that was almost funny, are you serious?

I sure hope not, it would be TOO funny if you were.

I mean, who commands the Iraqi police forces, as i stated? hahaaa, yeah, the Brits, right, LMAO

And they got 20 TONS of explosives ONLY from areas controlled by the Brits, right? LOL

Man, you are hilarious!

I really don't think you know what you are talking about.

If i hear that buzzword ONCE more i think i will implode.

Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Freedom. Buzzword? nice. Will be my favorite "buzzword" if you do implode.

Back on topic...there's been plenty of stuff in the news about Saddam spread around weapons stockpiles all over the place.

I almost missed that other buzzword "stockpiles".

Yeah, the stockpiles, they are EVERYWHERE, not to be found.

Ok, i am done, hope this was as fun for you as it was for me.

*laughing his way off to bed*

I really don't think you know what you are talking about.

I think i do know what i am talking about, you don't pick up 20 metric tons of explosives just by collecting small arms ammo, it was a mix of tnt and big round explosives, now if you know anything about tnt you know that it isn't the kind of thing you can hide 20 TONS of that easily and keep it there.

So unless you have a good explanation how they just happened to sneak by security and pick 20 TONS up i would suggest that you are the one not knowing what you are speaking of.

Or are you saying that i do not know who commands the Iraqi police forces? or what?

Now i know some will continue to claim that there are stockpiles all over the place that no one but the insurgents can find, but i don't find it realistic. I think it is taken across the borders into iraq.

There are large basically unguarded arms depots all over the country. These depots can stretch for acres and have been looted since the end of the war. You can find everything from morters, rpg's, 155mm shells, 500, 1000lb bombs, etc. The US military has nowhere near the resources to guard them, and they have hired private contractors to begin the process of destroying it, but it will take years.

OK, so you are saying that there are large unguarded ammo depots all over the place? Now, i don't believe you on that, because from what i know, it has been cleared out, collected and destroyed or are under guard for future use.

Now, it would take 20 1000lb bombs to collect that much ammo, that is a big load to just steal from occupied territory.

I still think it had to be brought in. 20 metric tons is what a tank weighs in at, dry explosives are 10x the volume, it is A LOT.

I can't find a link to the exact incident I was refering too (It was around the start of the war I believe and was shown on cnn and I think reuters as well), but it's well known Husseins people hid things all over the country. And when his forced started falling appart all that $hit was left unguarded. One would expect most of the major arms depots would have been secured, but it's quite possible (and very likely) that some were lightly guarded or missed altogether. Come to think of it...the depot in question did have guards for some time...but the people (Don't remember what unit(s), sorry.) in question weren't there to guard things and where forced to move on. One might suspect that someone in the chain of command fuvked up and didn't inform the right people.

I wish I could find the url for the exact incident I was refering too, but I'm not in the habid of collecting urls and for some reason google is failing me. All I'm going on is what I remember from the reports at the moment.

The rumor (truth) is that that Saddam was planning for this...lay down low for a year and then really come at us...if thats true..which it seems it is...then they probably stashed all sorts of things before the war started.

Good Find.

The link was posted in P&N somewhere I did a quick search in the archives but I couldn't find anything.
