Baskin Robbins offering new edible pictures.

I saw those recently, I was wondering how they did it.

I wonder if they'd do a Playmate cake, that'd make a great centerpiece for a PMOTY party...

This isn't new really. Saw it a few years ago when I graduated, a friend of mine had one of her senior pictures on the cake at her graduation party. My younger sister had a similar thing on hers. It's like a sheet of something, I'm guessing there's some sort of "edible inkjet" that does it.

It's a very thin sheet of rice paper. You print on it with a special ink cartridge and peel it off of its backing and apply to the cake where it just kind of melts into the icing. Had one a few months ago.

my friend just had a local store do a cake for his (i forget) party. digital airbrushing makes the image on the cake, its nothing new.
