Each scoop of ice cream will be $0.31 from 5 pm to 10 pm on Wed. May 2, 2007

Each scoop is approx. 2.5 oz each.

BR will donate $100,000 to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

I guess they don't have free scoop night any more? I haven't seen it for a couple of years.

this is cheap enough, though, so I'll probably take the family out. Thanks, OP!

one scoop of each...that's like $9.61 for one heck of a belly ache.

They've advertised free scoop night nationally for several years.

I'm in Seattle area, friends that do it are in Virginia/DC area.... last two years I can recall we both did it (free scoops).

My $.02

did it and they only let you have 3 scoops - line wasn't too bad at 5 (just happened to get out of work) but a few hours later the line was out the building!!!

We stopped at the Centreville, VA location around 9 PM.

We never got close enough to see their exact purpose, but there were three firetrucks flashing their lights and sounding the occasional siren for some unknown reason. Would they really need it for crowd control? I guess firemen like ice cream, too. (EDIT: Forgive me, I'm a little slow. I re-read the OP and obviously this benefits a firefighter charity so it makes sense.)

Anyway, there was a huge mob of teenagers. They must have announced it in school or broadcast it on MySpace.com. :p

Thanks for the heads up, OP. Wish we got there earlier.

They had cars down the street at our local place. Not worth it. 1/2 gallon of Breyers works out to .30 a scoop :)

My local BR is located inside a Dunkin Donuts--I counted the flavors in the freezers and they only had 24. I thought about complaining, but then decided it wasn't worth the bother.
