I think Johnny Depp said that too.

I believe Johnny Depp does in fact live in France, but don't recall him saying that. He did say something to the effect that the US was like a giant, poorly trained dog in terms of international relations, but he immediately said he was misquoted and retracted it.

Kim Basinger denied leaking Alec Baldwin's angry voicemail to their daughter and called on her ex-husband to "finally address his unstable and irrational behavior," according to a statement from her rep.

"Everybody is always asking why this custody battle has been going on for so many years and now they have the answer," says the statement, released Monday. "The issue is not about Kim or the alleged alienation that Alec constantly refers to. It is about his ongoing aggressive behavior."

The rep says Basinger "did not release the voicemail," but adds the message "was not sealed under a court order," as Baldwin's attorneys claim.

You do realize you give your fellow conservatives, right-wingers, and rednecks a real-bad name right?

..well there you go again doll. wipe the egg off your face. I'm a registered democrat.

where does liberalism fit into this...?

Alec Baldwin is a well known and highly vocal liberal who mistakenly believes that the rest of the world values his opinion because he's a movie star, though his acting abilities are questionable, at best.

And yes, I recall him saying that he would leave the US if President Bush was elected in 2000, not sure about the 2004 election though.

Politics aside, he's a tremendous actor.

Alec is a great very underrated actor, and he's absolutely one of the best SNL hosts ever. I wonder if they can get him on and have him in a skit making light of this. I don't know him as a person, but the times I've seen him on Letterman or Leno, or any other show getting interviewed for that matter he seems like a decent, funny guy. Too bad this tape had to mysteriously leak I feel for his daughter.

Hey don't compare us Rednecks with this functional pin headed Mongoloid. Alec has a hell of a temper and it seems he doesn't suffer fools like Basinger and Bush well.

You recall wrong. He never said any such thing. Basinger, when they were married, joked that he would leave the country if Bush were elected.

The OP is a troll and this thread is ridiculous. I'll take "mentally-ill" liberals like Barack Obama against "well adjusted conservatives" like President Bush every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
Basinger claimed in an interview with Focus Magazine that Baldwin "might leave the country if Bush is elected President", and that she would "have to go too."
Alec Baldwin claims that he never made the statement, but even if he did it wouldn't matter since Bush wasn't really elected, he was "selected by five judges up in Washington who voted along party lines". (He originally claimed his wife never spoke with Focus magazine, a claim which he later recanted.)

I would bet he actually said it. It's just that it wasn't recorded like in a ... voicemail or something, so he can deny it.

I've also read where Depp said he left because of Bush. Notsomuch as saying, "I will leave if Bush is elected/re-elected", but he stated he moved to Europe because of Bush.

Ultimately I don't give a crap if he said it or not - I just think this thread was started by a troll and has, predictably, evolved accordingly. Alec Baldwin's bad behavior has exactly nothing to do with his political beliefs, any more than Ken Lay's did. The whole thread is sheer stupidity.
