Okay, I fianally booted up. This is my first build and I just wanted to get it running.
Here are my specs
Foxconn NF4UK8AA-8EKRS motherboard
Amd 3500+ socket 939
Crosair 1gb dual chanal value RAM pc3200 ddr400
old 32x sun CD drive
9gb IDE seagate drive (new one is ordered)
s3 ViRGE videocard
Ubuntu Linux
Yeah...I'm poor. Can't really game with an s3, can we?
So I installed ubuntu and ran memtest but after memtest passed something wacky happened and now it tried to RAID my cd drive and HDD. SO now it won't boot. I checked and RAID is off in bios but it still tties to go to it. The RAID disc is a floppy and all I have is a usb floppy drive so....
Will flashing with the latest BIOS and chipset drivers help/ fix the problem?
I know you are going to ask, my CPU temp is 26..forgot if it's c or f.
