Wasn't the famous scene edited in theaters? I was too young to see it the theater when it came out, but I seem to remember seeing it on HBO later and being disappointed when she opened her legs and all I saw was a flesh colored blur.

Overall it would have been better.

People snubbed it as a skin flick/nasty movie because of that.
I know what Paul Verhoven was trying to do, but it would have been better remembered as a decent erotic thriller without the coochie.

EDIT: Ditto for Swordfish.
