My brain is not functioning, and I cannot solve this. I was wondering if anyone knew how.

The unit-step response of an LTI system is y[n] = ((1/2)^n) u[n]. What is the response to x[n] = -2delta[n+1]+2delta[n]-2delta[n-1].

Look at it this way: delta[n] = u[n] - u[n-1]
Since you know the unit step response, you can use this to find the impulse response, and it's easy from there.
