Basic budget build

This is a basic upgrade from a dead socketA system, trying to stick around this budget. I plan to reuse an old power supply, hence the 20 to 24 pin adapter.

Dont use the 256 stick, it'll slow all your mem down to 333, and an extra 256mb aint worth it

I spend an extra $4.54 for a dual core system:

Pentium D 805 OEM & PC Chips P13G+ combo
1GB (2x512MB) Corsair ValueSelect DDR2-667
ASUS P5A2-8SB3W cooler
the same 20/24-pin adapter

...or you could wait for the $85 ($79+tax) deal from Fry's B&M and actually save $18 or so.
