Basic Audio Setup

I have about 3 separate sections/zones where each section has multiple speakers looped together
Section 1 - 4 speakers looped together and connected to 1 volume control
Section 2 - 2 Speakers looped together and connected to 1 volume control
Section 3 - 8 speakers looped together and connected to 1 volume control

Speakers are CWS IC165
Receiver is STR-DH750

Issue is -

1)
Section 1 - audio is very faint
Section 2 and 3 are perfectly fine
Can you suggest why ?

2)
when the volume is increased, the receiver shuts off automatically. I understand due to power issues. Can you suggest a much better receiver which will withstand and work better

Thank you

are the speakers series? parallel?
are they in a distribution system or straight to the receiver?

Personally, I use that exact AVR with the speakers wired direct, I do have the subs outs ported to another amp with a couple old KL777Z's.

I've never messed with looping speakers, so it's hard to say from my end.

Not sure what you are up to there, but I've tweaked that amp just manually over the time, like you would when OC'ing a rig.

I can turn mine up to max with no problems, not that I do vary often.

I think you have other issues than the amp really.

The cable installer ran it like where only 1 cable comes out of each zone/section which directly goes to each of the volume controller. The other cable from the volume controller goes to the receiver.
So as such 3 pairs of cables go to the receiver in this case.

zone? that avr has 1 zone, at most 2
do you mean channels?

i have divided them like that however the 3 volume controls have 3 cables which are plugged into the receiver
So, i dont think its zones or channels.
My understanding is that with so many speakers its pulling too much power from the receiver and its unable to push power to so many speakers

wait, each set of speakers has a volume control knob?

do you have a model of these knobs?
