Good stuff! I wish I had a computer room in a basement with room for high-powered 5.1 speakers and all the trimmings, but alas, no basement, a small house, and I have to wear headphones most of the time.

Well, I just pretty much finished my project and figured I share the outcome.
The story is basically this: After buying the new house and taking care of the majority of projects in and around it. It was time to carve out my own little space. And after some short discussion with my wife I got my wish and got the room without windows (What better room would there be for a bunch of geeks?!) ;)

So this is how I converted my Basement from a boring storage place into a great Computer room for me and some friends.

To answer a couple questions:

There is a regular Aircondition return to the room (The utility closet that got the doors is acctually the Airconditioner).
There wasn't a Air-return in the room, but since all returns from the house lead back to here that was rather simple and I added one.

The program I used for the floorplan was MS VISIO. I am no master on it but it is fairly simple to do a plan like it.

Thanks for the praise!
