Is that Nunez? I listened to most of the game on AM and that dude hit the ground what 3 times? When he played for the Yankees his helmet was always flying off.
Yeah, that's Nunez. One of several times now he's been on the ground to make the play. It's funny in action, but the guy is definitely earning his pay tonight.

Aww, it's over. I wanted to set the all-time record.🙁

But hey, Dodgers win! 😀

Wow, quite an amazing game featuring some amazing pitching, Evoaldi's performance, (after coming out of the bullpen in the 2 previous games) was nothing short of fantastic. The Dodgers 24yr old phenom, rookie Walker Buehler, was also simply amazing, facing the prolific Sox offense, he kept them off balance all night with a dazzling array of pitches, (featuring a 97-98 MPH fastball) located almost perfectly. This was almost a must win for LA, going down 0-3 would have meant almost certain defeat. Considering the lack of offensive production for both teams, one might consider Cora's taking JD Martinez out of the lineup, (for a pinch runner), as too risky, I do. Yea, his ankle is somewhat gimped and he's a liability on the basepath's right now but it's not like your other big guns are hitting the cover off the ball, between Betts, Bogarts, they were a combined 0-15 for the game.

Madsen and la closer over rated.
Madsen has allowed EVERY runner he's inherited to score, he got Jackie Bradly Jr to fly out to right with a soft change-up but you could tell he just baerly missed it. Moreland pinch-hit next and was expecting the same pitch and he got it, the resulting 3 run blast brought the Sox back from the dead.

Never ever confident when those 2 are pitching.

I don't think so, he's exorcised all his demons at this point. As long as he stays healthy I think he kicks ass.

Not all his demons, smart kid but one never knows what will happen when he opens his mouth. 4 bad stars in 2019 and the Boston media will be all over him. Plus he might opt out and renew the demons.

Meh, his main problem with Boston sports media was that he replaced a very popular John Lester, (who did well in the postseason) and he got a $217 million dollar contract. In Boston they won't just tell you that you suck, they will tell you WHY you suck. I grew up 14 miles north of Boston, baseball is just barely second to Catholicism in that area. IMO Price volunteering, (and performing well) out of the bullpen, plus 3 excellent starts and postseason wins will endear him to the fans.

He also said some stuff about Eckersley that didn't go over too well. Yeah I've been to a few Yankee games in Boston. Those fans are brutal.
