So you Angel fans have you bought your new LAAA hats yet? 😛

I think Beltre's production last year was a fluke, a contract year performance. You all Dodger fans will probably be laughing when he returns to his .250 20 HR form.

Go A's. Go the Senior GIants!!!!

So he's a pretty cool guy huh? That's one thing Atlanta as lacked during this long run of winning, players with personality.

Hudson will be sorely missed in the A's clubhouse. More than Giambi, Tejada or Mulder would be. According to a few players.

cant wait. i went to about 15 padres games last year. seats ranged from 5 rows behind home plate to nose-bleeders to standing room only in the park. i spent most of my time in the toyota terrace seats though (next level after field, you order and they bring the food to your seat). will probably see the same kind of arrangements this year. but who cares?! its baseball!

I got a couple of games sitting in those toyota terrace seat..right behind home plate. Those were niiiice. I really like the new park. Too bad I live soo far away.

I hope Beltre has a monster year just so I can laugh at Dodger management some more. A's are gonna suck and you know it!

Better than losing the two after the season with zero compensation; been there, done that!

heh I hope not, cuz then he would be helping the Mariners hurt the A's. Man imagine if Ichiro has a year like last year with Beltre driving him in. Booooo!!
Go A's 😉

A's are gonna stink anyway. Sorry but as good as they are with the youngsters I just don't think the pitching staff can keep up.

Beltre can have his monster year. I have a feeling Seattle's pitching will be VERY shakey.

This all opens up the AL West title for Anaheim of course😉😀

Yeah I got my 10 pack for the Brewers. That's right, I said Brewers. I have been a loyal fan since 82 when they went to the series.

On a side note. I took my cousin to a game last year and taught him how to keep score and he loved it. We went to another game and he sat there quietly (he is 12), ansd enjoyed the whole game. Since I am a teacher and he doesn't have school we will go to alot of those games.

There is hope.

And to all you that say baseball is boring. "Please don't crap in my thread, I don't post in your toilet."

A's are rebuilding. But it'll still be fun to watch. I'm going to their first home game. See if the new guys are any good. Gonna catch a Giants game later in the season too when i got time.

Booo Anaheim. Boooooooo 🙂

No! He actually marked down how each person got on base, how the outs were recorded, you know , like in a scorebook. Or does nobody do that any more?????

Isn't there a new owner for the Brewers now?? I remember hearing about a new owner which would be good for the franchise. Maybe they'll raise the payroll a bit and sign a big player or two to attract some new fans.

Hopefully the team wont be stupid enough to trade Ben Sheets during the summer if the Brewers stink up the joint as he has great potential....and if they do trade him I hope its to the Mets! 🙂

Go Devil Rays!! 😛

Seriously, I'm from Tampa and a huge D-Rays fan. I got to see them while I lived in Toronto. I hope to catch them again now that I live in NH (an hour away from Bahston), but DANG, the BB tix are expensive up here.

i've never seen that at a ballgame. A's fans drink beers and Giants fans break out their laptops to IM their friends of the latest Bonds HR. But never seen anyone writing down on things.

Yeah. They got a new owner (Mark Antanacio) and he said that he would like to double their payroll. They also have the best minors in the ML and show some promise.

Fielder, Krenzel, Hall, Branyon, Jenkins, Overbay.

If you don't know you better aks somebody!!

back in December i bought tix for the Yanks playin the Red Sox (1st home game of the year) in the Bronx for $15 each thru ticketmaster (Bleacher seats too)
i wonder how much i could get for them now.

I will give the D-Rays credit for one thing. Baldelli has got about the best first name around. Tho, I usually go see the D-Rays just because my friend roots for the worst team in the league every year😉😛

Looking for people filling out scorecards is an easy way to find the diehard baseball fans. They really do follow every pitch.

Re: Giants fans, I do remember reading an article about how some people went to PacBell (is it still called that?) because they got a better connection there than at home. 😛
