Baseball fans - isn't this the best summer ever?

So many great races. More than half of the teams are still in it. Great catches and great walk off home runs. A lot of great stories. This is the best season in my fairly young life.

Rangers lost another pitcher, again. Nothing like a broken elbow from a line drive.

Im hoping that yesterday was the spark the Halos needed to get back in front of the west.

from a braves fans perspective, IF (still an if there) the braves win another division title, this will definitely be the most satisfying one since the first one they won 14 seasons ago.

Seeing Maddux in a Cubbies uniform makes it a great season. Now, the rest of the pitching staff needs to stay healthy, not to mention stay active and not get suspended for being a moron.

there are 17 teams in first place or within 10 games of first place. This is definitely good for commishioner selig

Being a life-long Redbird fan and season ticket holder..........yes, this definately rivals the '98 season...................MLB's best record and sold out games for the rest of the year at Bush Stadium.................a new "retro" stadium being built right next door..................it's all good in St. Louis!🙂 😎

This is an ok season but nothing spectacular. There are no really major historical milestones..well there was RJ's perfect game and Gagne's "streak", and Bonds..but really for me at least it is still only OK.

Nothing can beat last year's playoffs. Both leagues had amazing games.

Cubs will make it to the playoffs. They're too good not to.

I hope so.....................they'll have to do it as a wild card entry behind the Cardinals though! 😉 But hell..........that's not bad...................WSC have been made out of wild card entries! If the Cards can't do it................I'll root for the Cubbies and vice versa!🙂
