Hey there everyone!... Im new in here as you can see :)
Im about to build a rig... with a 2800+ AMD barton, but I dont know what mobo I should buy. I was thinking on a Soyo Kt400 platinum... but there is no info regarding this motherboards supporting barton core's...
Does anyone knows if they actually they are supported?
BTW... what is better in your opinion... a nforce based mobo/or kt400?
I was waiting for the kt400a but it seems its gonna take longer to be updated on this mobo's
Thx in adVanced

well Ive read lots of reviews.. and they seems to be really similar... but there are not nforce mobo's that I actually like :C
there is this msi one... its the only one Ive considered.. yet I think I prefer the soyo equipped one... but... I really dunno, just my opinion :)

nForce... no doubt... as much as i hate all that integrated crap on all the motherboards today... the nForce is pretty damn fast... and it doesn't need 4-in-1s...

Yes, or a BIOS update from the manufacture if needed. But more than likely you'll recieve the latest BIOS with it.

all athlons work on the kt400

the thing i don't like about the kt400 is the fact that it doesn't have the dividers to run 400mhz fsb

late next month should be interesting as we might see 400mhz fsb bartons and also kt600 and whatever sis has should be coming
