Why would Seattle want to disband the team? A loss in the playoffs would be tough for them to take, but they still had the best regular season in the history of the American League....it was overshadowed by the events of Sept 11, Bonds, Gwynn & Ripken retiring, Rickey...but that can still never be taken away from them. I believe Boone will be a free agent, but I can't see him wanting to leave...all they really need is a power bat to play LF or 3B, and they will be even better...don't forget, they have Ryan Anderson coming back, perhaps early next year (6-11 left hand pitcher, called Little Unit), and they have Halama and Tomko as extra starters for trade bait...The only other question would be if Edgar returns...
 
Oh man, I am crushed. Just came home from school, had a midterm today and spent 3 hours on the bus and the moment I opened my browser, I saw mariners lost 🙁. I knew bartolo would do good, like he did before, but didn't think it would happen like this. And against garcia, I am very sad at the moment. I hope moyer can get the mariners back on track. Don't want to be the opposite of the mariners/sox series last year.
