hi. i'm at a conference in san diego. I will only have the evening/night to explore, so i'm looking for suggestions on cool bars and restaurants. thanks
 
Are you downtown? at the convention center? I like just going down to the warf and eating at the fish joint there - they have EXCELLENT fresh fish and sourdough bread from SanFran. There is a lot of other little shops and places to eat there as well and nice to just stroll and see the ships and be by the water.
 
ill echo the sentiments of the past couple of posts and say you cant really go wrong in the gaslamp district.
