The U.S. Attorney's office in San Francisco is mulling over whether it will seek an indictment against Barry Bonds, perhaps as soon as next week. Bonds is facing possible indictment for perjury and tax evasion, and the grand jury that has been hearing evidence against him is due to expire within the next couple of weeks. -- New York Daily News

I think Bonds has taken so much bashing that he has almost become a sympathetic person as discussed on PTI today.
 
I hope he gets indicted, convicted and they wipe all his records from baseball...that would be justice.
 
I find it humorous that he tried to make a deal where he'd fully cooperate with baseball's own pathetic investigation and in return receive immunity from the federal investigation. Yeah, that didn't happen. Bonds knows he's going to get hit hard by the feds.
