barrage of popups

is this happening to anyone else? Occasionally, I'll get a never ending stream of popups and it doesn't stop until I kill IE. This seriously pisses me off. What's going on?

I get that sometimes. It's wierd. Also, I notice that doubleclick is in the URL of these annoying pop-ups. It hasn't happened to me in a while, but it would happen consistently on certain edmunds web pages. Wierd.

I tried Mozilla, but I just LOVE Avant Browser so much more...I dunno, it just feels right. Built in pop-up, tabbed windows. Everything Mozilla has

Mine did that last week... and i formatted it right away. All gone now. When you get popups with Google... something's gotta be wrong.
