I've got two of these. They are good drives for storage. This is the lowest I've seen them in awhile, with that said I paid a bit less before the flood.

Amazon is selling WD 2 TB WD Green SATA III Intellipower 64 MB for $100. Is this a good buy.

Guys have you seen any issues with the above drive like DOA or clicking noise..
All HDDs are unreliable. Some more than others, but the only ones you should count on being more unreliable are the largest available sizes. For 2TB or less, today, the answer to your question is indirect: backup, backup, backup. A good series of drive will, from your perspective, with a small sample size, fail unpredictably as a bad series of drive. Data only on one storage device is data waiting to be lost.

finally getting some near reasonable prices on hard drives again

i have a 1.5TB seagate 'green' drive, about 2 years old, and it seems to be working well.
