Yeah, what an utter waste of money that has been. Inspite of the billions spent on border patrol thousands of illegals still get across every day. They might as well just open the whole damn border up and save the money.

I'd be happy if they spread the money around evenly to help try to enforce the borders as a whole, instead of just shunting the illegal immigration to another area (ie: from southern cali to the Arizona area).

Why not just pass it out if they wanted to teach people how to come over here. The internet just seems like a waste of time for most of these people.

As far as border patrol goes, yes we need it. If 9/11 didn't teach us anything, it taught us that it is far to easy to get into this country. No I am not a fan of the current administration, and no I am not a fear monger it is just a simple truth.

I could care less if Mexicans want to legally immigrate to the US. We have a lot of hard labor jobs that most Americans do not want to do (yes even the unemployed ones). And if they come here legally, that will mean they would pay taxes. And if the US government wants to help them to learn English so I do not have to learn Spanish to get around, that is fine with me. You conservatives freak out about helping anyone because it turns into big government...blah blah blah, and you people call liberals the elite. Get off your aristocratic high horse and look around, do you really think that making the number of "have nots" bigger is a good thing?
