I got from Dell a desktop with similar specs and a 10" LCD monitor for only $100 more. That barebones is not competitively priced at all.

That is a nice price but a $190 rebate? I am not crapping here, but that is a little steep considering TDs reputation in the rebate department. If the rebate was less than $50 then I would consider it, but $190 is a lot to lose if it doesn't come through.

If you're gonna look at barebones, look at Monarch's. They have the new AM2 prices for their CPU's that are included in a barebone system which allows you to get a kick-arse CPU and mobo for a very good price.

I've done half a dozen combos from Frys, but never a barebones, something in the package always doesn't go with what I want. Cheapest grade case and power supply is a common deal killer.
