I got a bare wire fan, and i did not know it from case-mod.com... but its too late now, how would i connect it? ... it has 3 wires... black, yellow and red

Bare wire as in not connected to anything or no insulation around the wire?

What is the fan for? CPU? Case? 3 wires usually plug into mobo.

You can either solder a connector on, or buy a tail from someplace like pcmods.com

My panaflos came with 2 bare wires, but you can pull those off at the connector and replace with one of the tails.

If you gently fold the bare leads of the red(12v I'm assuming) and black(ground) wires, you can jab them right into one of the power supply's molex connectors. Stick red wire into the yellow one on the molex, and black to black. Turn on your PC for a split second to see if this works.

but i im going to use it for my CPU on my heatsink!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As i see on this motherboard.. the wires look like they are bare too...they go into the mother board!!!!!!! What now?
