Barcode printing software

Just as the title says, I'm looking for something that can create ISBN or UPC barcodes to print onto lables for a small bookstore I work at. Any recommendations? the cheaper the better.

Look into products at Office Max/Depot/Frys.

They provided something to a client of mine that thye use for inventory tracking.

Avery S/W for bar code labels & printer.

Wasp Tech H/W for scanner.

Thanks for the quick reply, I'll check the local Staplemax depot. I'd heard Wasp's tech was top notch, but expensive. The current barcode scanning software is almost stone age, so I don't want to make a huge leap.

At compusa or officemax (they all look the same to me) had a generic piece of tax software + tax sheets. I imagine you could find some custom/generic software that could print it out there, if you're lucky you might find it at the $10 section of walmart software.

You might want to check www.freshmeat.net and www.sf.net for some opensource stuff, but I'm too lazy to go there 😛
